Shipping and Returns

Shipping times are estimated based on the information provided to Safe Tradie by the carrier. Safe Tradie is in no way responsible for delays in arrival time. Should there be any potential problems with the carrier, Safe Tradie will endeavour to notify you. 

We deliver to addresses across New Zealand including Rural and PO Boxes. 

To ensure you receive your order we recommend providing a delivery address where you are present during regular business hours, such as an office address.

Packages require a signature at the time of delivery. If you are not at home during the time of delivery, a card will be left for you to rearrange delivery. You will have the option of arranging another delivery to either the same address, a different address, or a nearby depot. There may be the option for you to give an Authority To Leave your parcel without signature. Safe Tradie will not be liable for missing packages if you choose to use this option. 


Due to the impacts of COVID-19 and Red level setting, our logistics and postal networks are experiencing unforeseen delays.  Please allow up to 10 working days for us to dispatch your order.   We appreciate your patience.

During peak promotional periods such as FLASH and End of Season sales please allow for an additional 1-5 working days on top of the estimated delivery times.

We are working as hard as we can to get your orders out to you. If you are emailing us about an order, please allow 2-3 business days for us to reply back to you, although it may be quicker than this.


We understand that buying clothing online can be tricky as you’ve never felt the product or tried it on. That’s why we have a  returns policy that allows you to get a full refund or exchange for any products that you’re not happy with. If you are unhappy with the product(s) you have received from Safe Tradie, simply get in contact with us. 

To Return A Product: 

Before returning any product, a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) Number must be requested. To obtain an RMA Number, simply email us at and request an RMA Number.

When requesting an RMA Number, please let us know in your email the following information:

  • The Date Of Your Purchase
  • The Order Number on Your Invoice
  • What You Would Like To Return 
  • Why You Want To Return It. 

Once you have received the RMA Number, it must be written on the outside of the return parcel in a place that is easy to see, for example, on the shipping label.

What Can Be Returned: 

Most of the items we sell can be returned. All Returns must be in their original packaging and products returned must be in new condition:

  • Unworn
  • Unsoiled
  • Intact, with tags attached and hygiene stickers intact 
  • Preferably inside the original carton which it was sent to you to ensure the product is protected during transit. 

Unfortunately we will be unable to accept the return if the product is damaged. If there is any noticeable wear, the product(s)simply cannot be returned and will not be accepted.


Although we do our best to ensure we only provide the best quality product, unfortunately from time to time faults can occur. In order to resolve problems as quickly and efficiently as possible, we kindly ask that you send the product back to us with a detailed description of the fault. Our quality care team will assess the damage and we will be in contact with you via email.

Please note: if you choose to send your items back to us, your original delivery fee is non refundable

What Cannot Be Returned: 

Returns will not be accepted after 30 days of receipt of purchase. Product(s) that are not in their original packaging and tags removed cannot be returned. 

Product(s) with noticeable wear and soiled cannot be returned. Product(s) such as underwear, briefs and boxers cannot be returned due to hygiene reasons. Product(s) must be in Like New condition to be eligible for return.

Safe Tradie  cannot accept the return of items which have been specifically ordered for you or manufactured to your specification such as customised or branded clothing.

Returns For Refund: This must be made within 30 days of receipt of Purchase.

Returns For Exchange Or Store Credit: This must be made within 30 days of receipt of Purchase.

Shipping Charges For Products Returned: All Shipping Charges for returning products to us must be paid by the Returnee. We do not reimburse Shipping Charges.


Contact Customer Support to obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) Number. Please let us know if you want a replacement or a refund.

Write The RMA Number In A Conspicuous Place On The Outside Of The Return Parcel.
